Rutinib

Rutinib Cream — Uses

The established U.S. topical ruxolitinib labeling covers:

  • mild-to-moderate atopic dermatitis in eligible non-immunocompromised patients aged 2 years and older
  • nonsegmental vitiligo in adults and pediatric patients aged 12 years and older.

These indications are specific to topical ruxolitinib labeling and should not be transferred automatically to oral ruxolitinib.

Rutinib 5 mg — Uses

Oral ruxolitinib is used in several systemic treatment settings.

Current U.S. labeling includes:

  • intermediate- or high-risk myelofibrosis in adults
  • polycythemia vera in adults with inadequate response to or intolerance of hydroxyurea
  • steroid-refractory acute graft-versus-host disease in adults and pediatric patients 12 years and older
  • chronic graft-versus-host disease after failure of one or two lines of systemic therapy in adults and pediatric patients 12 years and older.

Ruxotor 10 mg — Uses

Ruxotor 10 mg represents an oral ruxolitinib strength. Its appropriate use depends on the specific product authorization and prescribed indication.

The presence of a 10 mg strength does not establish that every disease treated with ruxolitinib should be treated with 10 mg.

Approved vs Investigational Use

Clinical studies may evaluate ruxolitinib in conditions that are not included in a particular product’s approved labeling.

A clinical trial, scientific publication or physician experience does not automatically establish regulatory approval.
