Rutinib

Taking Rutinib Cream

Rutinib Cream should be used only on the skin and according to the instructions supplied for the specific product.

The established ruxolitinib cream labeling for OPZELURA instructs patients to apply a thin layer to affected areas twice daily. For atopic dermatitis, the current U.S. label limits treatment to affected areas involving up to 20% of body surface area. For nonsegmental vitiligo, the limit is up to 10% of body surface area.

Do not apply topical ruxolitinib to the eyes, mouth or vagina. Do not use it under occlusive dressings unless specifically instructed by a healthcare professional.

Wash hands after application unless the hands themselves are being treated.

Taking Rutinib 5 mg

Rutinib 5 mg is an oral formulation. It should be swallowed according to the prescribed regimen.

Current oral ruxolitinib labeling allows administration with or without food. The frequency and dose depend on the indication and patient factors.

Do not change the dose without professional guidance.

Taking Ruxotor 10 mg

Ruxotor 10 mg is also an oral formulation. The tablet should be taken according to the prescribed regimen for the specific condition.

A 10 mg tablet does not mean that every patient should take 10 mg once or twice daily. Oral ruxolitinib regimens are indication-specific.

Missed Doses

Follow the instructions supplied with the prescribed product. Do not automatically double the next dose after a missed dose.

Key Difference

Cream = topical administration.

5 mg and 10 mg = oral administration.

Instructions for one formulation must never be transferred automatically to another.
